Welcome to Over The Rainbow Day Nursery, a family-run, Ofsted-rated Good nursery providing high-quality childcare in the heart of Romford.
We care for babies, toddlers and preschool children from three months through to school age in a warm, home-from-home environment. Our experienced team works closely with families to help every child learn, develop and thrive through fun, age-appropriate activities.
We're proud to have been named Nursery of the Year 2026 and to have received an Award of Excellence 2026. Our team was a Silver Winner for Early Years Team of the Year at the Pearson National Teaching Awards, and we also hold the Healthy Early Years London and Sun Safety awards and are Makaton Friendly.
We're open 52 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm (closed on bank holidays). Extended hours can be arranged for an additional charge. Please see our schedule of fees.
We offer government-funded early education hours for eligible families. Our funding guide explains what you may be entitled to and how to apply.
You'll find us on Victoria Road, just 0.2 miles (a two-minute walk) from Romford Station, which makes us ideal for families living locally and for parents commuting into London. Parking can be arranged by contacting us, and we provide secure storage for pushchairs and prams throughout the day.
Come and see us for yourself. Book a show round today.
